Noteworthy News from December 2011:
The Buckhannon Police Department was recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) at its annual banquet for the department’s role in combatting impaired driving. Additionally, three officers from the Buckhannon Police Department (PFC Nick Caynor, PFC William Courtney, and Patrolman Darin Hissam) were recognized individually for having more than 12 DUI arrests each during the last year. M.A.D.D. awarded the officers with plaques to commend their efforts.
